Job Description
Material Handler is responsible for supporting internal and external customers through accurate receiving, stocking, delivery, and shipment of materials. This includes operating all material support equipment and performing all material support functions in assigned Operations facility.
Requirements
- Performing all aspects of the material movement/handling process
- Picking of parts/raw material, delivering parts, containers, fixturing, tooling, etc.
- Unloading and loading trucks using material handling equipment
- Inspecting of material upon receipt to insure it is conforming and undamaged
- Recording location and quantity of inventory via Handheld Scanner/Computer Terminal
- Maintain a positive working attitude and environment
- Mentoring and training new team members on processes and facility layout
- Maintain a safe and clean work environment in compliance with safety procedures, rules, and proper 6S standards
