Legal Officer

We are looking for an energetic and pragmatic Legal Officer to deliver comprehensive legal support across multiple aspects of our business, ensuring regulatory compliance, managing contracts, and minimizing legal risks. This is a unique opportunity to contribute to a rapidly expanding scale-up in the environmental commodities trading sector.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Law (LLB) and Master’s degree in Law (LLM)
• Minimum 2 years of experience as a legal professional, preferably with exposure to the energy or financial sector
• Strong knowledge of civil and commercial law, contract law, regulatory compliance and corporate governance
• Excellent communication and negotiation skills, with the ability to navigate diverse stakeholders and shifting priorities in a fast-paced, dynamic environment
• Ability to work independently and make sound, well-reasoned legal decisions while maintaining efficiency under pressure
• Fluency in English is required; proficiency in Dutch, German, or French is considered an asset
