Job Description
We are looking for an experienced Finance Manager to oversee financial operations, reporting, budgeting, and compliance with our real estate and construction division.
Requirements
- University Degree/College Diploma in Business/Finance/Economics
- Canadian CPA / CFA designation
- 5+ years of progressive experience in finance/accounting experience, with at least 3 years in a Controller or Finance Manager role
- Prior experience in real estate development, construction, or property management is required.
- Strong understanding of project-based accounting, cost tracking, and real estate financing structures.
- Strong communication skills and people management skills.
- Strategic thinker with strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, entrepreneurial environment
- Advanced Excel and financial modelling skills.
- Experienced in accounting software, Oracle experience is an asset
