Otter.ai is seeking a Staff Software Engineer to build and scale AI-powered mobile experiences. The role involves designing and developing advanced Android features integrating with AI, collaborating with AI researchers, and optimizing performance. The ideal candidate will leverage Android expertise with emerging AI technology to transform how people communicate and collaborate in their daily lives.
Requirements
- 10+ years of application development experience, predominantly for Android devices and in Kotlin
- Proven success shipping consumer-facing apps on Google Play
- Strong background in concurrency, memory management, and networking on Android
- Passion for creating world-class mobile experiences with clean, modern UI design
- Excellent communicator who thrives in cross-functional collaboration with AI and backend teams
