Deli Associate - PT (East Abbotsford)

Otter Co-op is now hiring for a Part-Time Deli Associate at our Parallel Food Store located in Abbotsford, BC. As a Deli Associate, you will provide responsive, exceptional service to customers by answering questions, making recommendations, and preparing special orders and party trays. You will also be responsible for updating displays, cases, and other customer-facing areas, and following all food safety and sanitation procedures established by the company and other regulatory agencies.

Requirements

• Experience working a Deli counter or in food preparation
• Proven customer service or retail experience is a plus
• Ability to lift heavy items, ranging from 25 to 50 lbs., and operate equipment, such as meat and cheese slicers, scales, cash registers, etc.
