Job Description
Immediate opening for a Lead Lineman in Lake Preston, SD to supervise, direct and work with the crew to erect and install, maintain or repair overhead and underground electrical distribution and transmission systems.
Requirements
- Supervise, direct and work with the crew
- Erect and install, maintain or repair overhead and underground electrical distribution and transmission systems and substations
- Frame and erect poles and attach necessary fixtures and equipment
- String, sag and splice conductors (wires) and connect transformer and other equipment
- Trim trees, replace such equipment as broken insulators, split crossarms, cutouts, ties, faulty clamps or braces
- Use electrical instruments, operate hydraulic equipment, and work out of an aerial basket
