Our Future Health is the UK’s largest ever health research programme, bringing people together to develop new ways to prevent, detect and treat diseases. Our mission is to create an incredibly detailed picture of the UK population’s health, by recruiting up to five million adult volunteers from across the UK. Each volunteer will be asked to fill out a questionnaire and provide a blood sample that can be linked to their health records. Taken together, the data will present health researchers with a powerful tool to identify new ways of tackling diseases such as cancer, diabetes, and dementia. It's an unprecedented challenge that involves answering questions that have never been asked before – ethical, practical, and technological. And by getting these answers right, we believe Our Future Health will allow future generations to live in good health for longer. Principal Engineer (Architect) - TRE/Data Architecture
Familiarity with trusted research environments, cloud storage services and technologies, experience leading or coordinating work across multiple teams, experience working with partner organisations and stakeholders
Staff Engineer (Architect) - Researcher Operations
Experience with leading architectural design of systems, configuring and integrating SaaS systems, and weighing up pros and cons of "build" and "buy" options
Head of Ethics
Experience in research ethics, team management, and communication skills
Staff Analytics Platform Engineer
Deep experience building and running modern data platforms in complex, multi-team environments. Excellent Python engineering skills. Expertise in analytics data modelling
Engineering Manager - (Researcher Pillar)
Engineering background, experience in managing engineers, and ability to communicate with technical and non-technical stakeholders
Senior Data Scientist - (Clinical Trial Recruitment)
Significant experience in data science or advanced analytics, strong understanding of clinical research recruitment, and strong programming skills
Detection Engineer
Some experience writing KQL or other scripting/programming/query languages, hands‐on exposure to Microsoft Sentinel or similar SIEM tools, and a basic understanding of cyber security
Senior Software Engineer (Full-Stack - Python/TypeScript)
3+ years experience in software development with cloud-hosted consumer applications, modern frontend development, and designing backend systems. Experience working with sensitive personal data and knowledge of data modelling and design patterns
Senior Detection Engineer
Highly proficient in writing KQL, significant hands-on experience with Microsoft Sentinel, experience with Microsoft Defender suite, experience with cloud-native logging, and exposure to Agile working
Senior Analytics Platform Engineer
5-10 years of analytics engineering experience, Python engineering ability, and hands-on dbt expertise
