Job Description
Outreach is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Staff Software Engineer to contribute to the backend team and help evolve the technology stack. The role involves working on development environment tooling, service development framework, and building reusable components to help other backend teams. The team is looking for someone with experience in CI/CD systems, shared libraries, container-based workflows, and production monitoring.
Requirements
- Experience working on CI/CD systems
- Experience maintaining shared libraries, especially open-source libraries
- Experience with container-based workflows and services, preferably in Kubernetes
- Experience building production monitoring to track service and website health
- Working knowledge of GOlang or interest in ramping up quickly
- Not afraid of using bash scripting extensively
- Some level of familiarity with Typescript, Python, and Ruby (used elsewhere in the company)
- Great communications skills in English
