Job Description
Outsight is seeking a Field Application Engineer to join its growing US team working remotely and located in Dallas, TX metro. As a Field Application Engineer on the Customer Delivery team, you'll be responsible for the entire software lifecycle, from infrastructure setup, capacity planning, deployment, monitoring and architecture by collaborating closely with the development team, integrations team, and product team.
Requirements
- BS or MS in Computer Science, Electrical, Industrial, Automotive Engineering or related field or equivalent experience
- 3–5 years working experience in a similar role
- Knowledge of SRE principles and expertise in deploying, monitoring and alerting software solutions
- Working experience with Kubernetes
- Programming experience with Python, or C++
- Clear understanding of TCP, IP and UDP protocol stack
- Understanding of network storage (SAN, NAS, iSCSI) and principles and best practices
- Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills
- Strong team player while possessing the autonomy to manage their own workload
- Experience with customer service, technical support, and project management
- Ability to work independently on projects with a “can-do” attitude
- Ability to travel up to 25% of the time
