Maths Teacher

We are looking to appoint a dynamic, enthusiastic and inspirational teacher to join our Mathematics department at Outwood Academy Hindley. The department consists of a well-established team of maths teachers, all with a common aim of wanting to inspire the next generation of mathematicians and make a real impact on the lives of young people.

Requirements

• Implements and uses a wide range of teaching and learning strategies within the classroom, applying techniques like Assessment for Learning (AfL) to continually improve student performance.
• Effectively uses student level data to identify areas for development and raise standards.
• Maintains high expectations for all students and effectively communicates with students and their parents, both orally and in writing.
