Job Description
We are seeking a Lead Garage Door Technician for our Fort McMurray Branch. This is a permanent, full-time position with the possibility of on-call and overtime work. The role involves servicing and installing overhead doors, including sectional, rolling steel, fire doors, security grilles, and more. Reliable travel and a strong safety mindset are essential.
Requirements
- Installing Sectional (includes FinDoor), Rolling steel, Fire Doors, High Speed Doors, Security Grilles, Roll Shutters, Bifold
- Servicing, and diagnose problems, provide solutions, and carry out required work on overhead doors
- Regularly communicate and coordinate with the scheduler on problem solving, provide solutions and required parts if needed.
- Effective assessment of job scope and discrepancy notes to scheduler
- Out of town travel for installation and service work
- Valid Driver’s License
- Ability to lift at least 75 pounds
- Ability to work outside in various weather conditions
- Ability to lift and pull heavy objects
- Pass pre-employment screening

- Accountability for safety training and compliance
