Requirements
- High School diploma or GED required
- Completion of Washington State Pharmacy Quality Assurance Commission approved pharmacy technician training program
- Licensure by the Washington State Pharmacy Quality Assurance Commission required
- Experience in a hospital pharmacy setting preferred
- USP 797 and clean room training required to compound sterile products
- Certified Pharmacy Technician certification
- One-year experience in a hospital pharmacy setting recommended
- Sterile compounding and non-sterile compounding training recommended
- Prior use of automated dispensing systems recommended
