Job Description
The Engineer IV (Electrical) - Sustainability position is responsible for leading and managing sustainability projects in accordance with District and program policies and procedures for College construction bond operations. The role involves implementing the electrification of central plants and other building systems, applying knowledge of Sustainable Building Principles and Standards, and supporting districtwide energy master planning and carbon reduction initiatives.
Requirements
- Bachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineering
- 10 or more years of professional electrical engineering experience in design, construction, or facilities infrastructure projects
- Strong knowledge of California Energy Codes, Title 24 Energy Code, National Electrical Code (NEC), California Code of Regulations Part 11 (Cal Green Code) and applicable electrical engineering standards
