Requirements

• Maintains Knowledge of current imaging practices in Diagnostic Medical Sonography
• Maintains competency in the professional discipline and instructional and evaluative techniques through continuing professional development
• Demonstrates effective, positive communication with students, co-workers, supervisors, and others
• Monitors compliance of program procedures and provides correction to students if non-compliant
• Encourage student participation
• Provides students with understandable answers to their questions
• Reviews scanning assignments / images and gives comments
• Provides and supervises students 'hands-on' experience
• Reinforces material as presented in sonography lab manuals
• Monitors the lab facilities to ensure student compliance with department procedures
• Communicates with lab instructors and the Program Director as necessary
