Applicant Pool for Adjunct Faculty, Mathematics

Teach a full range of mathematics courses from developmental mathematics to statistics, calculus, linear algebra, and differential equations. Prepare course materials, evaluate student work, and maintain records.

Requirements

• Thorough knowledge of mathematics principles to an extent where comfortable teaching courses from algebra through differential equations
• Familiarity with current curricular issues as they relate to community college mathematics instruction
• Proficiency in graphing calculators and/or mathematics software/applications
• Ability to communicate effectively with both small and large groups
• Proficiency in designing and grading tests
• Ability to create effective instructional materials
