Assistant Director, TRIO/Veterans Upward Bound

The Assistant Director is responsible for the enrollment and provision of services for low-income, first-generation veterans interested in pursuing postsecondary education. They conduct assessments, provide academic advising, and support participants with undergraduate/graduate admissions and financial aid.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree
• Previous experience working with veterans, disadvantaged and/or underrepresented students on a college campus or in higher education
• Experience supervising student and professional staff
• Experience working with veterans, military veterans' programs, financial aid and financial assistance processes is required
• Experience with TRIO Programs as staff or program participant
