The Instructor, ASL: American Sign Language position is responsible for teaching students in a learner-centered environment, using various instructional modes, and providing feedback and college reports in a timely fashion.

- Demonstrate knowledge and skills in the subject area of ASL
- Use instructional and discipline-specific technology

- Develop and use syllabi within College/School guidelines
- Demonstrate a Knowledge of Deafness and its effect on language development in deaf and hard of hearing individuals
- Participate in the assessment of student learning and program review
- Deliver and manage courses
- Maintain professional relationships with students
