Job Description
The Electrical Technician assists in the installation and repair of electrical systems, apparatus, and components of industrial machinery and equipment. They provide maintenance repairs to keep a continuous manufacturing process supported.
Requirements
- Notify supervisor of accidents or injuries
- Work safely and follow safety policies
- Read schematics and P&ID drawings
- Troubleshoot electrical and electronic systems
- Install and repair complex industrial equipment
- Maintain electrical and electronic systems
- Diagnose malfunctioning apparatus and replace components
- Lead efforts for electrical root cause analysis
- Test and discuss malfunctioning machinery with other workers
