Electrical Technician

Role Overview

The Electrical Technician coordinates and safely executes maintenance electrical functions in the facility to ensure maximum performance and minimize unscheduled interruptions. This position also trains and coaches others on electrical maintenance procedures and best practices.

What You Will Do

Installs, repairs, and upgrades electrical equipment and systems, maintains electrical controls software, and inspects electrical work in progress. Assists engineers with developing technical solutions and mentors maintenance apprentice employees.

Requirements

• High School Diploma or GED Equivalent
• Associate's degree, or higher preferred
• Minimum of 4-year experience in a Maintenance team with relevant experience
• Manufacturing or process related experience
• Ability to work independently or in a team atmosphere with minimal direct supervision
• Demonstrated quality and craftmanship and holds others accountable to this standard
• Ability to work 1st, 2nd, or 3rd shift as directed by Maintenance Leader
