Material Handler

Role Overview

The Forklift Operator is an integral part of our production team, involved in daily processes and successful outcomes for our facility and its customers. This position works closely with teammates at multiple levels in customizing product, per specs, in preparation for shipment.

What You Will Do

Read/interpret work orders to select the correct materials to move throughout the facility, receive incoming shipments, store materials, pick and pull materials for production and shipment, load and unload doors, conduct cycle counts, and perform 5S+1 inventory control duties.

Why It Might Be a Fit

Must be at least 18 Years Old, at least one year of experience in a warehouse or manufacturing setting, and at least one year of experience operating a forklift. Must work safely and follow all plant rules, show initiative, and communicate effectively.

• Forklift knowledge and safety procedures
• Ability to organize and maintain detailed records
• Ability to work well in a fast-paced environment and have ability to multi-task
• Regular attendance and timeliness is an essential function of the job
• Ability to use an RF scanner
• Ability to use a pallet jack safely
• Read a tape measure and do basic math
