Material Prep

Owens Corning is seeking a Material Prep for its North Platte location. The role involves operating machinery, inspecting product, assembling product, and communicating with the team. The successful candidate will have excellent hand-eye coordination, strong math skills, and the ability to work accurately and meet deadlines.

Requirements

• Operate machinery required for the position in a safe and efficient manner
• Inspect product for defects and take appropriate action
• Assemble product as per instructions with a focus on quality and safety
• Communicate efficiently with other employees and the leadership team
• Read and interpret list counts and complete all departmental paperwork correctly and timely
• Help create/implement poke yokes for quality issues
• Read, understand and follow production schedules
• Set up and adjust equipment
• Gather materials as needed
• Operate motorized equipment as needed
• Maintain downtime records and production information as appropriate
• Perform housekeeping duties
• Perform miscellaneous duties as assigned
