
Job description
The Packaging Engineer is responsible for initiating and implementing technical improvements in plant packaging systems, preventing and resolving packaging-related process and equipment issues, and improving packaging line capability, efficiency, and product quality. This role provides technical leadership for packaging operations within the manufacturing plant by driving process standardization, supporting equipment reliability, and building operator and maintenance knowledge through continuous improvement and Total Productive Maintenance (TPM) practices.
Drive a Strong Safety Culture in Packaging Operations, Provide Technical Leadership for Packaging Process Improvements and Controls, Coach, Train, and Mentor Packaging Operators and Maintenance Technicians, Provide Technical Leadership and Project Management to Improve Packaging Quality, Equipment Uptime, and Line Utilization, Provide Technical Leadership for Packaging Processes and Equipment.
Strong analytical skills, Strong verbal and written communication skills, Ability to organize and lead multi-functional teams to achieve plant objectives, Strong problem-solving skills to quickly assess situations, develop appropriate solutions, and manage execution.
