Purchasing Specialist I

Role Overview

The Sourcing Specialist supports plant and maintenance operations by sourcing maintenance, repair, operating (MRO), and direct materials to ensure timely availability, cost effectiveness, and compliance with company policies and controls.

What You Will Do

Source parts and materials, create and manage purchase orders and inventory levels, run MRP reports, identify vendors, and manage supplier performance.

Why It Might Be a Fit

The ideal candidate will have a Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain, Logistics, or related field, manufacturing plant sourcing experience, and SAP procurement experience.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain, Logistics, or related field
• Manufacturing plant sourcing experience
• SAP procurement experience
• Advanced Excel skills including Pivot Tables
