Procurement Specialist

Role Overview

The Procurement Specialist supports plant operations by ensuring the timely procurement of quality materials in alignment with the manufacturing plan, while executing procurement strategies that assure supply and optimize total cost of ownership.

What You Will Do

Execute tactical and technical procurement activities for assigned materials, equipment, and services, including supplier communication, purchase order processing, delivery monitoring, expediting, and billing issue resolution.

This role requires effective communication, negotiation, and project management skills, as well as knowledge of manufacturing execution systems and enterprise resource planning systems.

Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree
• Minimum of 3 years of experience in production environment preferred in supply chain planning, production scheduling, materials planning, procurement, logistics, and/or operations
• Experience communicating effectively, both written and verbal, throughout all internal levels of the organization and externally
• Experience working in a matrix environment or within a cross functional team
• Computer skills, including MS Office Suite (Excel, PowerPoint, etc.)
