Driver - Delivery Technician

Owens & Minor is a critical part of the healthcare process, and as a Delivery Technician, you will positively impact the lives of patients by delivering medical equipment to them in their home. You will provide excellent customer service, communicate product information, and assist patients in solving problems regarding equipment use.

Requirements

• Load and unload medical equipment, oxygen and supplies onto and off of delivery vehicles.
• Deliver medical equipment to homecare patients, setting up the equipment and instructing patients on its use.
• Ensure patients do not suffer service failures by proactively communicating estimated arrival times.
• Complete daily delivery logs, pick-up and delivery forms, and vehicle maintenance logs via paper or electronic means.
• Perform routine vehicle maintenance and daily inspections.
• Respond to critical situations as appropriate.
