Job Description
The Assistant Teacher is responsible for creating a safe, structured, and fun camp experience for children, helping with transitions, managing group activities, and ensuring a positive, inclusive atmosphere.
Requirements
- Actively engages with children throughout the day and assists in facilitating games, lessons, and activities.
- Helps implement daily programs that are age-appropriate and aligned with camp values.
- Ensures the safety and cleanliness of activity spaces and common areas.
- Assists with set-up and clean-up of activities.
- Follows all safety policies and procedures, including child abuse prevention and emergency response plans.
- Supports behavior management strategies to maintain a positive and respectful camp environment.
- Assists in creating a welcoming and inclusive environment for all children.
- Performs other duties as assigned.
