Job Description
Design Engineer at Oxford Dynamics: work on high-stakes projects in AI and robotics, requiring eligibility for UK security clearance and 5 years of continuous UK residency. A work sample is required to apply. The role is full-time, hybrid, and reports to the CTO.
Requirements
- UK security clearance (BPSS and SC)
- 5 years of continuous UK residency
- Design and build experience with a focus on good design instinct and technical skills
- Experience with AI-assisted development tools such as Claude, Cursor, v0, or similar
- Ability to prototype at the fidelity the decision requires and make judgments on the level of finish
- Knowledge of React/Next.js, Tailwind CSS, and TypeScript
- Experience with design tools such as Figma and handoff when prototypes become production specs
