Infrastructure & Network Engineer

Oxford Instruments is seeking an Infrastructure & Network Engineer to ensure the reliability, security, and performance of its core IT estate. The successful candidate will work across on-premise and cloud environments, supporting critical platforms that underpin the business and enabling innovation across multiple sites.

Requirements

• Enterprise LAN/WAN networking (routing, switching, VLANs, Wi-Fi)
• Firewall administration and network security
• Microsoft 365 and Azure AD identity management
• Windows Server, Linux, virtualisation (VMware / Hyper-V), and storage
• Client operating systems (Windows, macOS, Linux)
• Troubleshooting complex infrastructure and network issues
• Applying security best practice (patching, hardening, identity)
