Financial Accountant (6-Month Contract)

Oxford Nanopore is seeking an Interim Financial Accountant to join the Finance team in Oxford on a 6-month contract, reporting to the Head of Group Reporting & Financial Operations.

Requirements

• ACA, ACCA (or equivalent) qualified, or finalist / near-qualified
• Proven experience managing month-end close and producing full accounts for legal entities, including statutory financial statements and audit support
• Solid technical accounting knowledge (IFRS) and general ledger controls
• High proficiency in Excel and experience using a major ERP system such as D365
• Excellent attention to detail and analytical skills
• Self-motivated, well-organised, and able to work independently to deadlines
• Strong communication and teamwork skills, with a proactive approach to problem-solving
