Job Description
Design and implement cloud and infrastructure projects, lead migration to the cloud, and develop automated deployment and maintenance methods. Advocate for and implement best security practices, build and maintain monitoring and alerting, and investigate and resolve complex problems.
Requirements
- AWS architecture, design and implementation
- Terraform for developing and managing complex infrastructure as code
- Strong communication and organisational skills for coordinating with stakeholders, users, other internal teams and suppliers
- Monitoring technologies (e.g. Grafana)
- Linux systems administration (Ubuntu primarily)
- Strong scripting (e.g. Python, Bash)
- Containerization and orchestration technologies (Docker & Kubernetes)
- DevOps tools and application administration (GitLab, Jira & Confluence, Artifactory, Vault or similar tools)
- Strong general IT skills in system administration, networking and security
