As a Permissions Coordinator, you'll play a key role in ensuring Oxford University Press's Higher Education products are built on the foundation of legally secure, high-quality intellectual property. You will be part of a collaborative team that values continuous improvement, innovation, and high standards in content creation.
Requirements
- Research, assess, administrate, and secure 3rd-party intellectual property permissions for use in Higher Education products
- Ensure permissions obtained are accurate, appropriate for OUP use, and properly documented
- Amend work as required to meet schedules and product needs
- Support the administrative needs of the Permissions team depending on workload
- Follow established workflows and system requirements to ensure efficient delivery of work
- Contribute to improving workflows, processes, and data accuracy across the team
- Maintain clear, professional communication with editors, freelancers, pre-press teams, IP suppliers, design teams, and managers
- Update systems and databases promptly to ensure complete and accurate information
- Support standardization and simplification initiatives across HE Editorial workflows and contribute to continuous improvement objectives
