Role Overview

Join Oxipital AI as a Mechatronics Engineer to work on developing and executing customer requirements for AI-enabled machine vision solutions. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to solve technical problems and develop new capabilities. Travel up to 35% domestically.

What You Will Do

Own end-to-end controls projects, design and build prototypes, specify and integrate industrial automation components, and perform field installations of Oxipital AI equipment.

Requirements

• BS in Mechanical, Electrical, Mechatronics, or Controls Engineering
• 3-5 years of experience in a related role
• Ability to travel domestically up to 35%
• Knowledge of control cabinet design, build, manufacture, and component sourcing
• Ability to create and debug electrical schematics for industrial control systems
• SOLIDWORKS Mechanical 3D and PDM
• SOLIDWORKS ELECTRICAL 3D & Schematic
• Prior experience with sensor integration and industrial networking
• Brownfield integration experience integrating with existing customer equipment and requirements
• Experience with functional safety systems for industrial controls
• Hands on experience designing and fabricating parts for prototype builds
• Experience using lab tools for dimensional confirmation and mechanical, electrical, and thermal testing
• Experience working in a Revision Controlled environment, utilizing PLM and ECOs
