Prepare food in accordance with current federal and state standards, guidelines and regulations, and with established policies and procedures to provide quality food service at all times.

Requirements

• 40% Performs skilled cooking tasks such as preparing and cooking meats, making salads and preparing special items for holiday/events or special diet needs.
• 25% Prepare meals in accordance with planned menu, prepare and serve meals that are palatable and appetizing in appearance, prepare food in accordance with standardized recipes.
• 20% Supervises and assists in setting up and serving meals to assure they are correct, may provide direction to the work of PCWs if needed in serving foods and cleaning duties.
• 10% Assures that food and supplies are available for preparation, assures that all dietary procedures are followed in accordance with established policies.
• 5% Performs administrative and other duties as assigned by the Dining Services Coordinator.
