Job Description
Pace has over 40 years of heavy-duty truck and trailer industry experience and is seeking an experienced Diesel Technician to work as a mobile on-site fleet service for heavy-duty vehicles in the Chicagoland area. The position involves providing exceptional mechanical service and professional customer service, driving to customers' breakdown sites or worksite locations, and completing complex repairs on commercial heavy-duty trucks and trailers.
Requirements
- High School Diploma or Equivalent
- 5+ years of experience working on heavy duty vehicle
- State Certified Diesel Mechanic Certification highly preferred
- Post-Secondary Certificate or training as a Diesel Technician
- Cummins Certified Master Diesel Technician / Mechanic preferred
- Experience with Ottawa/Kalmar products
