The Test Lead is a key member of the Software Delivery team, responsible for leading and assuring the testing function, ensuring software is tested effectively and achieves the required quality standards before release to production.
Requirements
- Lead the planning, coordination and execution of end-to-end test execution
- Work with Application Owners, Solution Architects and Subject Matter Experts and other stakeholders to provide testing services
- Develop and maintain test plans, schedules, effort estimates, and dependencies
- Apply risk-based testing to prioritise effort where failures would have the highest impact
- Ensure defects are prioritised based on regulatory and customer impact
- Communicate test progress, issues, and risks in clear, business-relevant language
- Develop and implement test automation framework
- Ensure testing aligns with industry, regulatory, and audit requirements
- Support internal and external audits related to system changes
- Ensure effective use of test management, defect tracking, and reporting tools
- Coordinate availability and stability of test environments and test data
- Ensure traceability between requirements, test cases, defects, and releases
