Job Description
Pacific Coast Children’s Resources is seeking a Program Manager to lead their programs and services for children and youth with diverse abilities. The ideal candidate will have a degree in a relevant field, 3-5 years of experience in a health management role, and experience working with individuals with complex behaviors. The role involves managing programs, supervising teams, and collaborating with community partners.
Requirements
- Degree in one of the humanities, social sciences, or a related field
- 3-5 years of experience in a health management role
- Nursing experience an asset
- Experience working with individuals with complex challenging behaviors
- Experience with substance use, addiction, and harm reduction
- Experience with trauma-informed practices
- Experience working with community partners and mental health services
- Knowledge of Child Care Licensing Regulations
- Knowledge of MCFD, Aboriginal Operational Practice Standards, and Indicators
- Knowledge of Indigenous cultural practices and traditions
- Standard First Aid with CPR certificate
- Valid driver's license and access to a safe and reliable vehicle
- Satisfactory physician's assessment of fitness to work
- Satisfactory criminal record and MCFD HUB clearance
