Residence Coordinator - Children's Services

The Residence Coordinator plays a key leadership role in the day-to-day operations of one or more staffed homes, ensuring high-quality, trauma-informed care for children and youth with complex needs. The role includes frontline staff supervision, implementation of Service Plans, coordination of household needs, and support for documentation and licensing compliance.

Requirements

• A degree in one of the humanities, social sciences or related field with educational preparation
• A degree or diploma in a relevant field within human or social services
• A minimum of 3 years of related experience, including at least 1 year in a supervisory or administrative role (or an equivalent combination of education, training, and experience)
• Specialized training in behaviour modification, support for children under 12 with diverse needs, attachment-based parenting approaches, and relationship-focused interventions
• Knowledge and practice of trauma-informed care and culturally safe service delivery
• Ability to work effectively as part of a team
• Ability to communicate clearly and effectively with other staff, professionals and families
• Ability to critically self-evaluate own performance
