Job Description
The Vocational Counsellor will provide support to participants with disabilities seeking competitive paid employment in an integrated community setting. Responsibilities include managing caseloads, marketing and outreach activities, and providing onsite job coaching.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in a health or social services field, or equivalent
- 1 year of experience working with people with disabilities (paid or volunteer)
- Experience with Marketing and Networking
- Experience and education in business management
- Excellent oral, written and interpersonal communication skills
- Strong computer skills in Microsoft Windows
- Current First-Aid and CPR Level C Certification
- Satisfactory criminal record and MCFD HUB clearance
- Valid Class 4 Driver's Licence, access to a safe and reliable vehicle and the ability to travel
