Job Description
The Site HSSE Specialist is a 2-year term position that supports the implementation and oversight of the Project HSSE Management System, ensuring compliance with legal and contractual HSSE requirements for the Woodfibre LNG project. The successful candidate will monitor and assist with project HSSE and regulatory requirements, support the implementation of HSSE communication strategies, and recognize, evaluate, and advise on hazard identification and mitigation.
Requirements
- Occupational Health certification or applicable university degree
- Minimum 10 years overall experience in a similar role
- Experience working with large multi-disciplinary teams, contractors in a multicultural environment
- Experience working in the petroleum or industrial construction industry for an owner/operator company
