Job Description
This position is responsible for performing maintenance on underground transmission and distribution lines, as well as installing and maintaining services, meters, and equipment. The Cable Splicer will also be responsible for repairing services and meters, analyzing cable and equipment trouble, and restoring services promptly.
Requirements
- CA CDL Class A Permit
- Knowledge of procurement strategies and processes
- High School diploma or GED
- Formal union sanctioned Cable Splicer apprenticeship
- IBEW journey-level card for a Cable Splicer or State or JATC certification
