Data Engineer II

Pacific Life is seeking a Data Engineer II to join its Customer Data team in Charlotte, North Carolina. The role involves designing, developing, and supporting the customer data platform, primarily within an existing Snowflake environment hosted on AWS. The successful candidate will contribute to ongoing customer data initiatives and operate as part of a collaborative data engineering team within the Corporate division.

Requirements

• Design, build, test, and support ETL/ELT data pipelines that ingest and transform customer data into an existing Snowflake platform on AWS.
• Develop and maintain data transformations and models using tools such as dbt and Matillion, following established development standards and patterns.
• Participate in Agile delivery processes, contributing to sprint planning, development, testing, and deployment activities using Azure DevOps and CI/CD practices.
• Collaborate with senior data engineers, architects, and business partners to understand data requirements, analyze solutions, and deliver reliable customer data assets.
