Sr Network Engineer

Pacific Life is seeking a talented Senior Network Engineer to join its team in Newport Beach, CA or Omaha, NE location. The role involves designing, implementing, maintaining, and supporting the company's growing network infrastructure, as well as collaborating with the corporate security team to design and build security controls to protect the environment. The successful candidate will have significant experience in supporting global networks and a minimum of 7 years of experience in IT, configuring and installing various network devices and services.

Requirements

• Minimum of 7 years of experience in IT, configuring and installing various network devices and services
• Advanced technical skills and experience with L2 and L3 protocols and technologies
• Familiarity with various platforms such as NetScaler, F5, Riverbed, Palo Alto, Cisco (Catalyst, ISR, ASR, Nexus, ASA/FTD)
• Understanding of open-source and other tools to assist in monitoring, troubleshooting and performance analysis
• Excellent communication and problem-solving skills, attention to detail
• One or more of the following certifications: Cisco CCNP, Cisco CCIE
