Engineering Manager

Paddle offers a unique approach to payment infrastructure for digital product companies, and we're looking for an Engineering Manager to lead our Retain team, responsible for preventing churn and handling payments. As the team's leader, you will facilitate delivery of initiatives, manage and coach engineers, and drive improvements to team processes and practices.

Requirements

• Experience with Go or similar languages
• 2+ years of management experience with several direct reports
• Proven experience as a senior software engineer on complex, large-scale, cloud-based systems
• Strong understanding of high-performing and sustainable engineering teams
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Comfortable working with financial, risk, and legal stakeholders
• Proven success working with complex problems and ambiguity
