Diesel Truck Mechanic

PADNOS is a full-service recycling company that requires a Diesel Truck Mechanic for heavy equipment maintenance and repair. The ideal candidate will have strong mechanical aptitude and experience with various systems, with a commitment to safety and improvement.

Requirements

• Proven experience as a Heavy Equipment Mechanic or similar role
• Experience working with a variety of heavy equipment
• Strong knowledge of hydraulic, electrical, fuel and drivetrain systems
• Experience with preventative maintenance schedules and equipment servicing
• Mathematical and mechanical aptitude
• Related experience and knowledge of the methods, materials tools and techniques used in repairing heavy equipment
• Ability to work in shop and field environments
• Capable of lifting heavy components and working in physically demanding conditions
• Comfortable working in varying weather and job site conditions
• Ability to use computers for time tracking and maintenance records
• Strong communication skills, effective communicator
• Proven ability to work alone or in a team setting
• Attention to accuracy and detail
• Demonstrated safety consciousness
• Relevant Military experience
