Job Description
Paperless Parts is a SaaS startup helping manufacturers quote faster and win more work. The company is looking for a Principal Software Engineer to join their team in Boston, MA. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in architecting SaaS products at scale and experience with modern web frameworks and databases. The role will involve leading the technical strategy for migrating legacy monolithic patterns to scalable, service architectures and driving the adoption and continuous improvement of AI-assisted workflows.
Requirements
- 12+ years of experience in software engineering
- Strong background in architecting SaaS products at scale
- Expert-level knowledge of modern web frameworks and databases
- Experience with AWS cloud-native patterns (containers, serverless)
- Practical experience leveraging LLMs and AI agents in a production engineering workflow
