Paramount Commerce is a fintech company looking for a Senior Software Engineer to join their Payment Experience Engineering Team. The role involves designing, building, and delivering complex features for the merchant platform, as well as mentoring and supporting the growth of other engineers on the team.

Requirements

• 8+ years of professional software engineering experience
• Deep experience designing, building, and operating scalable distributed services
• Strong experience with Go and Kubernetes
• Fintech or payments experience, with a strong understanding of financial systems and regulatory environments
• T-shaped engineer with experience working across the full lifecycle, from design and implementation through deployment, monitoring, and iteration
• Business acumen and customer-centric approach
• Ability to balance speed, quality, and complexity, and make thoughtful decisions in ambiguous situations
