Job Description
We are seeking an Associate Producer to join our CBS News team in New York. The ideal candidate will have 3 years of local and/or network TV news experience, strong editorial judgment, and excellent writing and editing skills.
Requirements
- 3 years local and/or network TV news experience or show producer experience
- Strong editorial judgement & excellent writing skills
- Strong editing skills (Avid preferable)
- Highly developed relationship building skills
- Ability to multi-task and thrive in a dynamic, quickly-changing environment
- Focus on multi-media content
- Understanding TV newsgathering and transmission technology
- Knowledge of regional television markets and station relationships (a plus)
- Degree in broadcast journalism or related field (preferred)
