Forward Deployed Engineer Applied AI

Role Overview

As a Forward Deployed Engineer Applied AI, you will actively shape how paretos brings Decision Intelligence effectively into the Enterprise daily routine. You will work with customers to understand their business needs and develop solutions on the paretos platform. Your day will be varied, with 25-50% of your time spent on-site with customers and the rest with the team in the Heidelberg office.

What You Will Do

You will conduct Discovery and Requirements Workshops, translate business requirements into platform configurations, moderate data-driven decisions, and configure Forecast and Replenishment solutions on the paretos platform.

Requirements

• Several years of experience in a technical, customer-facing role
• Strong data affinity
• Ability to work AI-first with Agents, LLMs, Claude Code, and Vibe Coding
• Practical experience with LLMs and Agent Systems
• High self-responsibility and ability to navigate complex organizations
• Clear, convincing communication
• German on a native level or C1, fluent English
