Job Description
HealthPartners is hiring for an on call/casual LPN/Medical Assistant/EMT at the St. Paul Midway Clinic. The LPN position responsibilities include identifying common and recurring nursing needs of the patient, performing routine office procedures and testing, and providing safe, accurate and clinically competent direct care to patients and families. The Medical Assistant position responsibilities include rooming patients, administering medication, and providing health educational materials to the patient.
Requirements
- Graduate of an accredited school of nursing.
- Current LPN licensure in Minnesota.
- Current BLS certification for health professionals through the American Heart Association or Red Cross.
- Demonstrated verbal and written communication skills, including appropriate use of English grammar and spelling.
- One year working experience as an LPN is preferred.
- High school diploma or GED.
- Graduated of an accredited Medical Assistant program OR Graduate of an accredited EMT program and current EMT License
- Current Medical Assistant Certification or Registration through AAMA or AMT is preferred
