HCA - Health Care Aide (Casual) - HCC

The Health Care Aide assists Residents with activities of daily living, promotes independence, and provides holistic personal care. Ensures Resident safety, maintains therapeutic relationships, and encourages participation in social and recreational activities.

Requirements

• Graduation from a recognized Health Care Aide program.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced care environment and have a genuine interest in caring for Residents
• Communicate effectively in English, both verbally and in writing
• Demonstrate patience, kindness and compassion
• Highly organized and resourceful
• Operates related equipment
• Works in a team setting
• Collaborates and communicates with others in a respectful manner
• Physical ability to carry out the duties of the position
